Verify it yourself: nothing is uploaded
Anyone can claim “we never upload your files”. Here is how to check that claim yourself.
- Network requests since this page loaded
- 0
- Requests carrying file data
- 0
0 means no file data has left your device
Check it on this page
The counter below counts network requests your browser has made since the page loaded, in real time. While a file is being processed, file-data requests must stay at zero.
- If the count does not grow while you process a file, no file data left your device.
- Requests for ads, fonts and page assets may appear. They are unrelated to your files.
Check it in developer tools
- Press F12 (or Ctrl+Shift+I) and open the Network tab.
- Select a file and run a redaction or compression.
- If no request in the list carries your file name or its size, nothing was uploaded.
The strongest test: go offline
Load this page once, switch your device to airplane mode, then process a file. If anything were uploaded, it would fail right there.
What we do not use
- External OCR or AI APIs
- Thumbnail or preview servers
- Any storage for uploaded files
- Automatic collection of processed output
Frequently asked questions
Why are there ads?
Ads are external page resources and are not connected to your files. Turn on an ad blocker and every tool keeps working.
Do you collect analytics?
Only anonymous visit counts used to improve the site. File names, contents and image data are never collected.
Is it open source?
The processing logic uses standard browser APIs (Canvas, File API, WebAssembly) and behaves exactly as described on this page.
