What to cover on a lease agreement

A lease puts both parties’ names, the address, the deposit and the payment account on the same page. Cover the sensitive parts before the file leaves you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cover the whole contract?

If the parties need identifying, leave the names and part of the address.

Do I need to redact for a letting agent?

Leave only what the agent asked for and cover the rest.

What about signatures?

For proof of contract, keep them. For an informal share, covering them is fine.
